Fear and power do not peacefully coexist. She had a choice at that moment, a potentially contentious course of action. She who wishes to reach the most rarefied and potent ranks of fashion, whether in deal making or designing, must have certain serenity; her influence has outshone that of the Beatles. Influence means an effect on the future direction of fashion. Steadiness of temperament and the judicious quality of decision-making are best-known qualities, a certain above-the-fray quality and a flat-out disregard for what you think, Opening the doors for the future. A clearer handle on the big picture, that sort of clarity is new, simple, direct and pragmatic. With an exhaustive attention to detail and contemplation of all the possible angles, her power, created some definitive design benchmarks; just her own original energy. Her career highlights, to create a new energy and there will be a different challenge so she can make something beautiful with it. The word “female” is significant in that assessment of Miuccia Prada. Confident and change with an emphasis on the female. Her success was revolutionary, What sets her apart is her disregard—in some cases, her open contempt—for the dictates of fashion. Prada the woman is unafraid of is a good fight. And more often than not, she wins.

Exp 2- Final Model

The Exterior
The exterior is a play of repetitious shapes to achieve something new. The idea only initiated from Lecture 7 " The Black Box" where repetition created a sense of strong integrity in the design. It also enabled me to link my previous two draft models together. Instead of having both elements floating about, the idea extended to having repetitious elements that in a sense, linked the two buildings together.
Meeting Space
The meeting space is a relatively light piece of design compared to the rest. The use of glass is symbolic of clarity and peace.
Importance of Shadows
The shadows, mostly of the exterior are equally as significant as the solid objects, shadows require no texture or detail, the only characteristic given out is the response it gives to the different times of day. Therefore Directional shadowing is the approach taken.
The interior
Instead of carving a perfect path of a playable map i created a environment in co-ordination with the exterior environment.
The Ramp
The ramp is used as a tool of linking the labs of the two scientists however it is more purposeful that the journey takes the artist around the structure. The ramp also leads the artist between the distinguishable inside and outside.
Keith Campbell
The helix building takes form of a simple shape sliced into the void and the solid extruded places. Light escapes from the voids.
Alfred Nobel
The think lab for Alfred Nobel is relatively simple in design, however the 5 slots which allows light through represents the 5 areas he believes to contribute to a better world.
